(The full keyboard is replaced by a single key in the lower left corner of the screen with the text restore on it.)
Follow these steps to create a new Min appearance, possible to drag/move.
1.Start by installing Key*One on your computer.
2.Open the Key*One Designer. Browse and open the layout you want to work with. (I am modifying the standard SVGA-en.keyone.)
Path to my layouts:
c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Freefloat Key One\Layouts\
Note: you should browse your own Document and Settings folder
3.Under the Canvas menu, chose the Minimized canvas.
4.Once you changed to the Minimized canvas, access the Canvas menu again and change :
Size: Width:100 Hight:34
Move delay to: 0
Background Color: R=190 G=190 B=190
5.Delete the blue Restore key.
6.Now open the minimized-w-drag.keyone file.
min.zip (672bytes)
Number of downloads: 74
Select all objects and copy them. Switch back to the SVGA-en.keyone layout, the Minimized canvas and paste the objetcs in the clip-board.
Once copied right click the Switch key and make sure that the “Show and Hide” setting is
Show: SuperVGA
Hide: Minimized
7. Run your new layout from the Keyboard menu to test!
When you press Min on the full keyboard the new draggable/movable version should pop up!
Tip. If you want the keyboard to start with the “Minimized” look simply access the Minimized canvas and check the Visible property. Also remember to uncheck to Visible property on the SuperVGA canvas.
